Oak Leafroller

Oak Leafroller (Archips semiferana) - In early spring, caterpillars will oftentimes emerge to take advantage of feeding on a trees new leaf growth. Leafroller caterpillars are a common pest found on oak tree leaves and can be found throughout Texas. They are most prevalent in parts of the Hillcountry, and cause widespread damage to live and white oaks in the region.
