Bagworm

Bagworm (Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis) - These unique moths enclose themselves in silken bag comprised of twigs, silk, and other debris. The moth primarily affects cedar, pine, and arborvitae species, but has also been known to affect some hardwoods. Heavy infestations may result in the tree becoming completely defoliated.
