Black%20Twig%20Borer (Xylosandrus%20compactus) - Adult%20female%20black%20twig%20borers%20are1.4%20to%201.9%20mm%20in%20length%20and%200.7%20to%200.8%20mm%20in%20width.%20Their%20body%20is%20stout%2C%20cylindrical%2C%20elongate%2C%20brown%20to%20black%2C%20and%20have%20distinct%20punctures%20on%20their%20posterior.%20Adult%20male%20length%20is%20typically%200.8%20to%201.1%20mm%2C%20and%20width%20is%200.4%20to%200.5%20mm.%20Their%20body%20is%20rounded%2C%20dwarfed%2C%20and%20reddish-brown.%20All%20characters%20are%20poorly%20formed%2C%20flightless%20and%20rare.%20Egg%20are%20small%20%280.3%20mm%20wide%20x%200.5%20mm%20long%29%2C%20white%2C%20and%20ovoid.%20Mature%20larva%20length%20ca.%202%20mm%3B%20head%20capsule%20pale%20brown%3B%20body%20creamy%20white%20and%20legless.%20Pupa%20length%20similar%20to%20adult%3B%20body%20creamy%20white.
