Dogwood Borer

Dogwood Borer (Synanthedon scitula) - "Dogwood borer larvae are white\r\nwith pale brown heads and they bore in the cambium of\r\ndogwood, gaining entrance under rough bark or through\r\nwounds. Late-summer adults are clear wing moths and\r\nsomewhat resemble wasps. The body is blue with\r\nyellow stripes and yellow-banded legs."
