Six-spined%20Engraver%20Beetle (Ips%20calligaphus) - Ips%20beetles%20are%20cylindrical%2C%20black%20to%20reddish%20brown%20in%20color%2C%20and%20vary%20in%20size%20from%203%2F32%E2%80%9D%20to%20%C2%BC%E2%80%9D%20in%20length.%20Despite%20their%20small%20size%2C%20they%20can%20be%20identified%20by%20a%20scooped%20out%20rear%20end%20surrounded%20by%20spines.%20Immature%20adults%2C%20found%20under%20the%20bark%2C%20are%20usually%20yellowish%20to%20light%20brown.%20Fully-grown%20larvae%20and%20pupae%20are%20yellowish%20white%20and%20vary%20from%203%2F32%E2%80%9D%20to%203%2F16%E2%80%9D%20in%20length.%20Eggs%20are%20very%20small%20and%20white.%20All%20life%20stages%20%28eggs%2C%20larvae%2C%20pupae%2C%20and%20adults%29%20occur%20under%20the%20bark.%20They%20do%20not%20bore%20into%20the%20wood.
