Twig%20Girdler (Oncideres%20pustulatus) - Twig%20girdlers%20are%20small%20%281.5%20%20to%201.75%20inches%20long%29%20and%20are%20dark%20brown%20in%20color.%20Being%20members%20of%20the%20longhorn%20beetle%20genus%2C%20they%20also%20bear%20distinctive%20long%20antennae.%20The%20female%20beetles%20will%20chew%20a%20groove%20around%20the%20circumference%20of%20small%20branches%2C%20girdling%20and%20killing%20these%20parts%20of%20a%20tree.%20The%20affected%20branches%20will%20be%20fed%20on%20by%20larvae%20and%20eventually%20be%20shed%20from%20the%20tree.%20Despite%20the%20damage%20that%20they%20cause%2C%20twig%20girdlers%20have%20not%20been%20known%20to%20cause%20a%20significant%20threat%20to%20tree%20health.
