Southern%20Pine%20Sawyer (Monochamus%20titillator) - Adult%20pine%20sawyers%20are%20large%20black%20to%20brownish-gray%20beetles%20with%20white%20markings.%20The%20spotted%20pine%20sawyer%20%28M.%20clamator%29%20ranges%20between%2014-24%20mm%20in%20length%20and%20has%20forms%20with%20variable%20markings.%20Some%20may%20be%20largely%20gray%20while%20others%20may%20have%20brown%20coloration%20with%20indistinct%20patterned%20light%20markings%20over%20the%20body.%20The%20body%20length%20of%20the%20whitespotted%20sawyer%20%28M.%20scutellatus%20scutellatus%29%20is%20similar%2C%20ranging%20from%2016-23%20mm.%20General%20coloration%20is%20dark%20gray%20to%20black%20and%20there%20is%20a%20prominent%20white%20spot%20in%20the%20center%20of%20the%20body%20at%20the%20base%20of%20the%20wing%20covers.%20Additional%20white%20spots%20may%20also%20be%20present%20or%20the%20wing%20covers%20may%20be%20largely%20free%20of%20other%20markings.
