Linden%20Looper (Erannis%20tilaria) - Linden%20looper%20larvae%20are%20variable%20in%20color%2C%20ranging%20from%20vivid%20green%20to%20dark%20brown%2C%20with%20three%20thin%20yellow%20lines%20on%20each%20side%20of%20the%20body.%20Spiny%20loopers%20are%20pinkish%20with%20hairy%20tubercles%20and%20black%20lines%20running%20their%20length%2C%20and%20fall%20cankerworm%20larvae%20range%20from%20very%20light%20green%20to%20dark%20brownish-green.%20The%20head%20and%20anal%20segments%20are%20also%20variable%20in%20color%2C%20ranging%20from%20pale%20green%20to%20black%20or%20mottled.%20Darker%20larvae%20may%20have%20a%20longitudinal%20black%20stripe%2C%20while%20lighter%20color%20forms%20have%20white%20lines%20running%20their%20length.%20Though%20larger%20loopers%20tend%20to%20feed%20voraciously%2C%20consuming%20all%20but%20the%20mid%20rib%20and%20larger%20veins%2C%20younger%20larvae%20may%20work%20as%20skeletonizers%20%28eg.%2C%20fall%20cankerworm%29%20or%20give%20leaves%20the%20appearance%20of%20Swiss%20cheese.
