Fireblight

Fireblight (Erwinia%20amylovora) - Symptoms%20of%20fireblight%20can%20appear%20on%20flowers%2C%20buds%2C%20shoots%2C%20leaves%2C%20and%20mature%20stems%20and%20branches.%20Symptoms%20include%20water%20soaking%20on%20the%20petals%2C%20peduncle%2C%20and%20ovary.%20These%20infected%20tissues%20will%20eventually%20turn%20black.%20Infected%20leaves%20will%20have%20a%20blackened%20midvein%20and%20will%20eventually%20shrivel%20and%20die%20while%20remaining%20on%20the%20tree.%20Infected%20shoots%20turn%20black%20and%20curl%20giving%20a%20%E2%80%98Shepherd%E2%80%99s%20Crook%E2%80%99%20appearance.%20When%20branches%20are%20infected%20the%20bark%20will%20appear%20water%20soaked.%20The%20underlying%20wood%20will%20become%20discolored.%20Often%20times%2C%20infected%20tissues%20will%20exude%20an%20amber%20colored%20bacterial%20ooze.
