Overwatering

As trees can be underwatered, they also can be overwatered. Too much water reduced a tree's ability to respirate and participate in gas exchanges outside of those conducted through photosynthesis. Signs of overwatering include yellowing in the leaves, frail leaf petioles, or persistent moisture in the area around the tree.
