Soapberry%20Borer (Agrilus%20prionurus) - A%20native%20to%20Mexico%2C%20the%20soapberry%20borer%20has%20moved%20north%20from%20its%20native%20ranges%20into%20south%20and%20central%20Texas.%20This%20borer%20primarily%20affects%20soapberry%20trees%20and%20has%20caused%20widespread%20death%20to%20western%20soapberry%20%28Sapindus%20Saponaria%29%20in%20the%20regions%20aforementioned.%20Signs%20of%20infection%20include%20bark%20chips%20at%20the%20base%20of%20the%20tree%2C%20and%20exposed%20sapwood%20where%20birds%20and%20mammals%20have%20torn%20away%20the%20bark%20to%20feed%20on%20larvae.%20A%20completely%20infested%20tree%20will%20be%20girdled%20and%20produce%20a%20multitude%20of%20sprouts%20along%20the%20trunk.%20The%20borer%E2%80%99s%20white%20larvae%20can%20oftentimes%20be%20found%20feeding%20beneath%20the%20bark.
