Texas consistently experiences extreme weather events and is on the front end of expected warmer, dryer weather pattern change. This category will provide support to increase community forest climate resilience and quality of life improvements related to increasing canopy health. This category will prioritize innovative approaches to the issue, not necessarily tree planting projects.
