Users should note that forest distribution products are prediction surfaces developed from sample locations and are meant to give a general sense of where forests occur and how much biomass is present. Map products are not meant to show whether forests exist at a specific point on the ground. For instance, zooming in on areas that are not forested on the ground could display a predicted forested area, and vice-versa.
